Four shops, and flats. Early C19. Brick with ashlar dressings;
tile roof with brick end and cross-axial stacks. Georgian
style. 3 storeys; 4-window range. 1st and 2nd floor sill
bands; top dentilled cornice. C20 shop fronts flank
round-headed entry. Windows to upper floors have rubbed brick
flat arches, over 12-pane sashes to 1st floor, 6-pane sashes
to 2nd floor. INTERIOR of No 30 has heavy chamfered beams. Two
rear gabled wings flank Adie's Alley. Wing to left,
Oddfellows, has 2 C20 shop fronts, and varied fenestration
including two 1st floor windows with cambered arches and 2
windows with paired sashes; 2nd floor has varied casements,
one with small panes, 2 with iron opening casements. Wing to
right has 2 entrances, marked 28A and 28D; varied fenestration
including 9-pane sash; small outshut has 1st floor loading bay
with glazed doors and small crane to interior.
