Formerly known as: Nos.3 AND 5 HIGH STREET. House. Early C19 and earlier. Front of Flemish bond gault brickwork and 2 red brick rear ranges, one with grey diaper pattern. Roof of front range of plain tiles and of 2 parts, one gabled and with abutting long roof, hipped at S end. Parallel range at rear of 2 parts, one with hipped slate roof and one abutting of plain tiles hipped at S end. 2 storeys. Front elevation: is of 2 parts with differing eaves lines. The main part to the S has moulded cornice with concealed gutter and 2 roof lights. The S end has a full height pilaster pier. The first floor has 4 double-hung sash windows, each of 12 panes, and all windows have rendered heads. The ground floor of this part has 4 similar windows and a doorcase with Tuscan pilasters, cornice hood and panelled reveals. Door of 6 moulded panels and 3 stone steps. Taller part of front elevation has similar moulded cornice and full height canted small paned sash windowed bay. Large stack behind front range. S flank of front range to passage is partly of red brick and has blind arch headed recess on first floor. Ground floor has early C19 doorcase with flat hood, rectangular fanlight and bootscraper. S rear range has 2 rooflights, the brickwork has blue brick diaper and there is a 4 window range of 12 paned double-hung sashes. N rear range block has 3 similar window range and all rear windows have yellow stock brick segmental arched heads.
