House divided into 3, round 3 sides of a courtyard. Centre one
(No.36) now the Masonic Hall. Early C19. Gault brick under
slate roofs. Rear of No.36 with corrugated-concrete roof. Main
front to south-east. 3-bay Roman Doric portico to left with
triglyph frieze in front of 3 French windows. 2 sashes above
with 6/6 glazing bars and gauged skewback arches. Set back to
left is a 3-bay block with 3 first-floor 6/6 sashes. Ground
floor bay window to right and a C19 door in brick doorcase
left. 6-bay north-east return. INTERIOR. No.34 with closed
string stick baluster staircase. Main rear room with foliate
plaster cornice and ceiling rose.
