Seven terraced houses. Dated 1822. Gold and buff stock bricks
set in Flemish bond with rusticated stucco ground-floor and
stucco dressings; Welsh-slate and artifical slate mansard
roofs, party-wall brick stacks. Side-hall entrance plan with
staircase. Three storeys, basement and attic; two windows
wide. Ground-floor round-arched openings set in stucco recess.
Steps rise to doorway with Ionic pilaster-jambs carrying
corniced-head, elaborate panelled door with circular motif for
door pull and patterned fanlight (C20 fanlight to Nos. 297,
299, 301, 303, 305). Ground-floor 6/6 sashes with Gothic style
glazing bars to nos. 295 and 303, no. 297 with 2/2 sashes,
nos. 299 and 301 with 6/6 sashes, no. 305 with 4/4 sashes, and
no. 307 with 1/1 sashes. Gauged brick round arches to 1st
floor full-length 6/6 sashes set in round-arched recesses, all
with iron balcony railings in the anthemion and Vitruvian
scroll pattern. 2nd floor with gauged brick flat arches to 6/6
sashes. Plain stucco cornice. Roof dormers to attic. Attached
iron railings.
