GV II

Early C19 house with a rear wing, split into flats 1982, the
ground floor being No.21, the first floor designated Nos 19B
and 19C. Brick and pantiled roofs. 2 storeys and attic in 3
bays, with a further window bay over passage to Three Crowns
Yard (which on the interior actually goes with No.23).
Entrance to No.21 under the semi-circular passage arch.
Fenestration of sashes with glazing bars under gauged skewback
arches, those with horns being replicas of 1982. Gabled roof
with 2 inserted late C20 gabled dormers. Internal gable-end
stacks. Rear wing has, to the north, a set-off between the 2
floors. 2 sashes each floor. Entrance to flats via a C20
half-glazed door in north gable of front range. INTERIOR.
Little of interest after conversion of 1982 on being vacated
as offices by the District Council. Staggered butt purlin
roof.
