C16 L-plan house sharing a courtyard with No.29 (qv) to south,
divided into 2 properties in 1982. Brown Brick facade of early
C19. Pantile roofs. 3 storeys in 3 bays. Doorway to left of
elevation: panelled door in timber case with panelled reveals
and pilaster strips to front carrying an open pediment.
Semi-circular overlight. 2 sash windows to right, 2 to first
floor separated by a blind window, and 3 to top floor, all
with reduced glazing bars and gauged skewback arches. Painted
string course at first floor. Gabled roof. No obvious
provision for stacks, but must share with neighbouring houses.
Rendered and colourwashed rear elevation. Wing extends west
from north end and was reduced by half its length in 1982 and
west wall rebuilt: late C20 details. INTERIOR. Not inspected,
but likely to be of interest.
