2 houses, now flats. c1840. Red brick with gault brick
dressings. Artificial slate roofs. Double-pile plan. 3 storeys
in 6 bays. Brick quoins at ends of elevation and to left of
carriage arch to south end, defining former No.44. Remaining
five bays symmetrical with central C20 door. Sashes with one
glazing bar throughout, under gauged skewback arches and brick
keystones. Moulded brick eaves cornice below parapet. Hipped
roofs. One stack right of centre and another to north end.
Rear fenestration similar.
