Town house with later shops. Early C19. Incised stucco on
studwork to 2nd floor, replaced with render to 1st floor;
rubble with brick dressings to other elevations;
bitumen-grouted slate roof, brick end stacks. Double-depth
plan. 3 storeys over basement; 3-window range. C20 windows.
Altered late C19 shop fronts with panelled pilasters. Rear
elevation is 3-window range with original 16-pane hornless
sashes and tall 48-pane stair sash and round-arched central
ground-floor window with concentric fanlight head. Right-hand
end wall has pair of 15-pane casements to gable over tall
48-pane stair sash over doorway with margin-glazed overlight
and 4-panel flush-beaded door. INTERIOR: shops altered late
C20, otherwise not inspected.
