GV II

House, now shop. Mid C18. Rough Ham Hill stone ashlar with
pantile roof; stepped stone coping with moulded kneeler and
brick stack to right gable end. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys;
3-window range. The west-facing front has a left-of-centre C20
door under a flat hood supported by scrolled metal brackets,
beneath a square 4/8-pane sash window with a wooden lintel. To
both sides of it are early C19 6/6-pane tripartite sashes
reaching to the eaves. To the left of the door is a c1980
plain fixed window with top vent; to the right, and occupying
most of the right return to the ground floor, is a late C19
shop with 2 plate-glass panes to each side, colonnettes with
ornamental tops, and double glazed doors on the ground-floor
canted bay. To the first-floor centre of the right return is a
1/1-pane tripartite window under a segmental arch. INTERIOR
not inspected.
