House and adjoining outbuildings, now 2 houses. Late C18 and
mid C19, with mid C20 additions and alterations. Red brick
with ashlar dressings and concrete tile and slate roofs. 2
coped gable stacks, and 2 ridge stacks, all brick. Dentillated
eaves, coped gables. 2 storeys plus garrets; 3 window range of
C20 wooden framed cross casements, the central one altered.
Central altered round arched doorway with plain fanlight and
C20 half-glazed door, flanked by single larger cross
casements. All these windows have shaped lintels and
keystones. To left, a single storey addition. Left gable has a
single C20 garret window. Rear wing, 2 storeys, has to left
two 2-light windows and below, 2 larger 3-light windows, all
with segmental heads and C19 diamond pane glazing. In the
centre a C19 chamfered stone doorcase with cornice and double
door. To right, a lean-to projection with a reglazed ground
floor window with cornice. Return angle has a similar ground
floor window.
