3 houses. c1830. Brick; tile roof with 3 brick cross-axial
stacks. Double-depth plan. Georgian style. 3 storeys; 4-window
range. Top brick frieze. Entrances to right of windows have
doorcases with faceted pilaster strips, friezes and cornices,
No.53 with half-glazed door, No.55 with late C20 door, No.57
with 6-fielded-panel door; round-headed entry to right of
No.53 has round-headed 6-fielded-panel door. Windows have
sills, and rubbed brick flat arches over 16-pane horned sashes
to ground floor, 16-pane sashes to 1st floor and 8-paned
sashes and one 6-pane casement to 2nd floor. Rear similar.
