Formerly known as: Seven Stars Public House ROTHER STREET.
Town house, now public house. C17 with 1799 refronting.
Timber-frame with brick infill and stuccoed brick front; slate
roof with brick end stack. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys; 4-window
range. Moulded plinth and plain eaves. Entrance to right of
centre has architrave to 6-flush-panel door. Windows have
sills, and 16-pane sashes, one to left end horned replacing
carriage way; 9-pane sashes to 1st floor. Right return has
exposed timber-framing shewing raised front eaves; later rear
additions. Rear has 2 gabled wings with later lean-to outshut
to left return; former segmental-headed carriage entrance to
right end and some windows with brick flat arches to 16-pane
sashes. INTERIOR: ground floor opened up; chamfered beams.
