House, now a doctors' surgery. Early/mid C19. Flemish-bond brick, stone cills and cill band to first floor, slate roof with brick stacks to right gable end and close to left gable end. Double-depth plan. 2 stories with basement; 5-window range. Flat gauged brick arches to windows, those to the first floor are 3/6-pane sashes (that to left of centre is blind); three 6/6-pane sashes to ground floor above 3 segmental brick arches and stone cills to semi-basement. Between the windows are 2 large semicircular door openings, double-stepped gauged brick with painted-over traceried fanlights; 2 fixed panels over double doors each of which has one raised-and-fielded panel to the top and 2 reeded panels below. To far left a slightly set-forward range level with the brick plinth, flat gauged brick arch to C20 door with sunk panel well above it. Rear: the first floor has five 3/6-pane sash windows; below outer 2 windows are single-storey flat-roofed gazebos with curved inner corners which have moulded architraves to hemispherical-topped niches facing the courtyard. Between them ground floor has 2 full-height 6/9-pane sash windows flanking a wide elliptical arch with painted-over traceried fanlight to C20 door. A trellised swept verandah roof with metal scalloped edge over frieze of ovals has fine paired cast-iron trellis supports with diamond patterns to the verticals and 3 wide elliptical arches with sun-ray pattern to the spandrels.
