Town house. C18 (reset datestone inside front wall 1728 and
inscribed "LTF"). Incised stucco on rubble front; steep dry
slate roof with rendered stack on right. Shallow-depth plan
plus wing at right-angles to rear left. 2 storeys over
basement; symmetrical 3-window front. Blocked central window.
C20 six-pane horned sashes; cambered central doorway with
recessed 4-panel top-glazed door approached by flight of 6
granite steps. Rear wing has window with central lozenge pane
to 1st floor of gable end. INTERIOR when inspected 1980
retained many C18 features including dog-leg stair with turned
balusters; panelled and planked doors; original floors,
partitions and pegged roof structures; bolection-moulded
chimneypiece salvaged from skip and now reused at Croft West,
Kenwyn CP.
