Stone arched entry with gates to Offa's Dyke Path. Probably mid C19. Stone, iron gates. A rough segmental arch with a key stone inserted inscribed ' OLD SCHOOL LANE', carried on side abutments with tall segmental-headed openings containing
one vertical iron bar; between these a small iron single gate with spiked rods to
top and bottom rail and diagonal brace. The whole c 3.5 metres wide, between
retaining walls, and c 2.5 metres high. The inscription refers to a former school,
now a dwelling (not listed) which lies on the line of Offa's Dyke Path.
