Kinley barn and stock yard c 500 metres north east of Bishton Farm

Field barn with shelter shed and double stock-yard. Probably C18. Sandstone
rubble, corrugated asbestos roof to coped gables, and lower roof to cart entry on
far side (east) hipped and Welsh slate roof; shelter shed in rubble with double-
Roman tile roof. Main barn in 5 bays, and with full height internal wall to south
and further two narrow bays, mainly collar and tie with 2 purlins, but two end bays
trussed with pegged joints, and ceiling here underlined. Road (west) elevation
has series of putlog holes and central flush sliding doors to full height, cart
entry has remains of large double stable doors. To right is C19 door in brick
segmental arch, and on right gable return a loft entry. Back left shelter shed
in 5 bays with round rubble columns, facing two enclosed yards with walls c 1.5
metres high to rock-on-edge copings and three gates; unroofed lean-to south of cart
porch. A very complete field group.
