Mid C18 pair. Three storeys, 3 and 4 windows respectively. No 157 has modern
right bay with garage. Dark stock brick with parapet. Gauged brick arches
to sash windows with glazing bars in moulded architraves and stucco-lined reveals.
Doors of 4 fielded and 2 beaded panels, with cornice head and radial fanlight
in narrow moulded architrave above narrow pilasters, the whole set in wood doorcase
of architrave with Greek key pattern, enriched frieze and cornice, No 155 with
modillions and garlands hanging from sides of architrave. No 157 has cornice
with dentils and egg-and-dart moulding. Duchy of Cornwall Estate Office.
