House now residential accommodation. Early C19. Ashlar, stone slate roof. 2
storeys with cellar, 5 bays. Plinth, cill bands. 3-step podium to Tuscan portico
with cornice and triangular pediment fronting 1/2-glazed door with fanlight and archi-
volt in rusticated surround. Sashes with stone lintels. Eaves string, dentil
cornice, hipped roof. Stacks to left end and ends of hips. c1970 extension on
right linking house to coach-house (qv) not of interest. Rear: as front. Central
doorway plainer with C20 glazed door. Right return: 3 bays. Central 2-storey
arched niche with tall stair window; sashes as front. Interior: good cantilevered
stair with decorative iron balusters.
