School house. Late C18 or early C19, altered. Red brick. Stone slate roof.
3-bay gabled centre part with lower 3-bay side wings. Two storeys with
single-storey wings. Symmetrical facade, the centre bay marked by a round-
arched sunk panel. Doorway to right, tall windows with C20 casements. Brick
flat arches. The doorway was formerly in the centre. Shorter 1st-floor
windows to left and right on sill band at impost level of arch. Bracketed
pediment in brick. Slightly projecting lateral stacks. Blind centre window
to left wing. C20 addition to right wing not of special interest. Rear:
Pedimented main range, as front, with round-arched stair window to left.
Small single-storey addition to main range.
Interior: not inspected.
