Church of St Oswald

A Grade II* Listed Building in Swinbrook and Widford, Oxfordshire

Wall painting

Uploader's Comments

It was usual in medieval churches to enter and see a painting of St Christopher, patron saint of travellers, across the nave from the church door.
This 15th century St Christopher has been over painted with a 17th century Royal Arms.
