House subsequently used as a Post Office. Early to mid-C19. Brick with hipped, slate roof. Square plan. Two storeys with dentilled eaves cornice. Two bays; windows have rusticated voussoirs and moulded architraves; twelve-pane sashes throughout; central entrance has an open pediment, moulded architrave and six-panelled door. Brick stacks to rear side elevations.

Occupies a prominent situation at the centre of the village adjacent to High House (qv) and Lynbury, Maypole Cottage, Wrights Cottage (between Lynbury and Maypole
Cottage) and Wrights Cottage (between Lynbury and Post Office) (qv).
