Lodge at eastern driveway giving access to Berrington Hall (qv). By Henry
Holland, 1778 - c81 for Thomas Harley. Sandstone ashlar with slate roof.
Rectangular plan with central archway in form of a triumphal arch. Two
storeys with string course, blocking course and -parapet with part balustrad-
ing. The string course continues over the archway which rises to full height
as a label and is interrupted by a keystone. The archway is flanked by 6-
pane glazing bar sash windows to upper floor and 12-pane glazing bar sash
windows to ground floor.
