Memorial. C20. Rough granite square pillar resting on a base of two steps. A panel in the east face has raised carving, showing a ball resting in the centre of double stumps (linked at the head) and at each side a cricket bat of C18 design. On the first step is a panel incised 'This Stone Marks the Site of the Ground of the Hambledon Cricket Club circa 1750-1787'
