Public house, formed of two attached dwellings of different form. C18, with early
C19 rear wings. Walls of painted brickwork in Flemish bond, cambered openings to
the ground-floor. Half-hipped tile roof of two levels, the south side with brick
dentil eaves, two small highly-placed hipped dormers, catslide at rear: the north
side with catslide at rear. The west front elevation has a taller symmetrical
south side of two storeys and attic three windows (centre filled): the north side
of two storeys two windows. Casements, with a large splayed bay of three sashes
at the north side. Two plain doorways. The rear elevation shows a tall staircase
wing with a hipped roof, and a filled mullion and_transom wood frame of a window,
now replaced at the side by a sash.
