Barn. Probably late C17 or early C18 with later alterations. Sandstone
rubble and timber-frame with brick infill and Welsh slate roof. Three bays
aligned north/south. East elevation had full-height opposed wagon entry
with two-leaved ledged doors. Brick infill panels have small square vent
holes. South gable has brick semi-circular panel set in rubble. Frame
is three panels high from cill to wall-plate. Interior has raking struts
from ties to principals and angle struts from wall-posts to ties. Watery
Lane Farmhouse is not included in this list. (RCHM, Vol I, p 34).
