Farmhouse. Late C17, remodelled early C19, with some late C20 alterations.
Timber-frame clad in rough cast extended in painted brick under a hipped
slate roof. Rubble gable stacks, that to south with a rubble shaft, to north
a brick shaft. East front of two storeys with three windows, glazing bar
sashes with moulded boxes. Ground floor has four similar windows. Central
entrance had an ogee canopy supported by wrought iron trellis work. The doorway
has a moulded architrave and a six-panel door, the upper four glazed. Framing
only visible in small areas, probably square panels. Interior has a central
entrance hall with staircase to rear having turned balusters, newels formed
by clusters of four.
