- Church Farmhouse

GV II


Cow house. Probably late C18 or early C19. Sandstone rubble, corrugated
iron roof. Rectangular plan aligned north/south. One storey and loft.
West elevation: six windows and circular iron wall tie plates at regular
intervals, six segmental heads to ground floor consisting of five ledged
doors and one opening three windows from the north. Six large pitching
holes under square heads to first floor tallet, the local term for a loft.
