SU 63 NW WIELD UPPER WIELD

6/10 Pond Cottage

Cottage, formerly a pair. Early C19. Flint walls and thatched roof.
Symmetrical front (west) of 1 storey and attic, 2 above 4 windows. Hipped roof,
eyebrow dormers, catslide at rear, Walls of coursed flint with brick quoins,
cambered arches, verticals and plinth. Casements. 2 plain doorways, one with a
C20 small brick porch with a gabled slate roof. At the north side there is a
late C19 outshot of brick, with a hipped slate roof.
