SP 05 SW CHURCH LENCH CP AB LENCH

8/31 Bars Cottage

House. Late C17 with C20 alterations. Timber-framed with painted brick
and rendered infill, thatch roof. Three framed bays aligned north/south,
south bay taller, with gable-end stack to north; C20 extension to south-
east corner. One storey with attic lit by three eyebrow dormers; six windows:
2-light C20 casements, two to right paired. Entrance in rear (east) wall.
Framing: three square panels high with straight tension braces; straight
angle braces to north gable; truss has a collar.
