Stable with pigeoncote above, pigsty and barn. Early C19.
Brick, with hipped and gabled slate roofs with stone hips.
Cogged and dentillated eaves, single and 2 storeys, 3 bays wide
by 5 bays deep. Arranged around 4 sides of yard. Windows are
mostly unglazed. Stable and pigeoncote, to east, 2 storeys, 2
bays, has to east, 3 bay round headed blind arcade, and above, 2
half-round barred openings. South gable has single diamond
breather and above, round headed opening flanked by 4 tiers of
shelves. West side has central round headed stable door, flanked
by single blocked half-round openings. North gable has a double
door and doorway with elliptical head in link to stables.
Stables, to north, single storey, 5 bays, have to south, 4 doors
with elliptical heads, and to right, a blocked opening. North
side has, to left, door with elliptical head, flanked by single
slatted openings with round heads. Pigsty, to west, has feeding
hole and 3 doorways with elliptical heads. Boundary wall with
ramped ashlar coping and a square pier. Barn to west, 3 bays,
has to east and west, central barn doors with elliptical head,
stone imposts and keystone. Flanked by single cross breathers,
and above, 4 slit breathers. South end has central cross
breather and 4 slits. Above, elliptical pitch eye. Open
cartshed, to south, has timber posts and to south, doorway with
elliptical head. Included for group value only.
