SO 54 NW MARDEN CP VENN'S GREEN

Farmhouse. Probably late C17 or early C18. Timber-frame finished in
roughcast, plain tiled roof, external stone stack with detached brick
shaft to east. Two storeys, three windows, aligned east/west.
North elevation: regular 2-light mid-C19 casements, glazed mid-C20
door in latticed early C20 gabled porch. Single storey two window
early C20 extension to left of stack. With its barn (qv) a pleasing
minor farmhouse group.
