Farmhouse. C17, extended mid - late C19. Timber-frame, painted brick
infill panels and plain tiled roof; rendered extension, 2 rooms, inner
entrance to south room, larger later cross-wing extension to south;
extended rebuilt stack to north. 2 storeys, 2 C20 3-light casements to
first floor and a 4-light casement on ground floor. Ledged door; gabled
extension masks left hand (north room). Interior: cellar below later cross-
wing; "coffin hole" in ceiling inside entrance door; longitudinal "spine"
partition in timber-framing to much of first floor of C17 part; arbitrarily
placed stop-chamfers on ground and first floor beams; concealed "hop treading"
hole through first floor in north west first-floor room.
