Farmhouse. C17, altered late C18 or early C19. Timber-framed, sandstone
plinth, part brick refacing to south front, brick infill, hipped tiled
roof. Former L-plan now obscured by later addition in angle of wings,
facing south with former cross-wing extending to north at east end, entrance
central to south front, main left of centre axial stack and lateral stack to
cross-wing. Two storeys, irregular fenestration, four windows to first floor
2- and 3-light casement windows, similar 3-light window and canted bay to
left and 2-light window to right of doorway with open gabled porch and ledged
door. Framing is fairly complete, four square panels from sill to wall-plate,
only two upper panels survive on upper floor of south front. Cross-wing
originally with gable to right of south front.
