Stable block, c1840. Tooled-and-margined ashlar; slate roof.
Italianate style. South elevation in 3 sections. Chamfered plinth,
pilasters, impost band and cornice. Centre part has pair of double doors
under depressed elliptical keyed arches, flanked by doors with radial
fanlights. Flanking 3-day parts each have central door with tall fanlight,
flanked by 12-pane sashes (those in left part with radial-glazed heads);
long paired brackets to eaves. All doors vertical-panelled, all openings
with moulded archivolts. Low-pitched hipped roofs. Another similar door on
right return.
