Grotto, probably C18. Rustic masonry of large un-dressed blocks, partly
Magnesian limestone; squared stonework at rear of recesses. Length of thick
wall with 3 recesses, the centre taller and with a roughly-pointed head.

Originally a garden feature associated with Bebside Old Hall, demolished in
mid-C19.
