Pedestal tomb. Late C18. Limestone. Upright square pedestal with concave
faces and scroll supporters, a re-carved square urn on a cavello capping with
moulded edge and decorative frieze, raised shouldered panels, moulded base; all
set diagonally on a square stone platform. Not now legible, but 1879 survey
records as the Rev John Moseley, d.1794, he was a litigious vicar at the church
from 1764 until his death.
