Monument to the horse Continental. Dated 1902. Large blocks
roughly squared and dressed stone arranged to form a rough pyramid,
formerly within an iron railing. Inscription 'To THE MEMORY OF /
THE CONTINENTAL / -------Y. -------D FAIR HAVEN /. FOALED 1891
DIED 1902 / AND THE FAVORITE HORSE / OF CECIL ELWES / BY WHOM THESE
THINGS WERE WRITTEN'.
