House possibly originally at least 2 cottages. Late C16 - mid C17.
Square-panelled timber framing with plastered infill now largely
replaced with painted brick infill; thatched roof with decorative
ridge thatching; brick stack. 'L'-shaped plan. C20 flat-roofed
extension to the left gable end and C20 gabled wooden porch to the
south front, not of special interest. 1½ storeys. Irregular
fenestration; two C20 steel casements with glazing bars and one
small 4-pane window to the ground floor; 2-light steel casement to
the forward-facing gable upper right; two 2-light eyebrow dormers
to the left. Rear elevation: C20 single and 2-light casements to
the ground floor; 3-light C20 wooden casement acting as an eyebrow
dormer; 2-light wooden casement with horizontal glazing bars to the
upper floor of the gable at the rear. Access via C20 flat-roofed
extension; two part-glazed doorways at the north end. Interior not
inspected.
