Stables with loft. Possibly early C17, much rebuilt C19. Coursed and squared
limestone, stone slate roof. Two storeys, partly built in to land slope. At
ground floor far left plank door in chamfered surround and flat Tudor head and
similar central opening. Blocked opening to right, also 3 small single lights
in chamfered surrounds, that extreme right to stair, blocked. At first floor
are 2 single lights in chamfer surrounds. Left return, towards farmhouse
(q.v.), shows line of C19 roof raising; gable slit over 2-light chamfered-
mullion casement to first floor. Back has central loading door up stone steps,
also one single light and one blocked opening; some marlstone in wall probably
from earliest building phase. Right gable has pigeon holes over single light
chamfered opening at first floor; change of roof profile discernible. 5-bay
queen post roof on a planked central truss division. Two stone dividing walls
at ground floor, heavy chamfered beams, some stalling.
