G.V. II
Barn. Late C17. Timber framed with brick gable ends. Thatched roof. Gabled
transept entrance to west with weatherboarded gable head. South wall of
transept rebuilt in brick. Opposing full height double doors to east side.
Walls weatherboarded. Main roof is gabled. Timber frame of medium scantling
and medium spaced studs. Tie beams on arched braces. Queen struts to collars.
2 tiers staggered butt purlins and straight windbracing. Hill Farmhouse is
not listed.
