Milestone and memorial pillar. 1856. Ashlar. Free standing pillar of square
section. Plinth inscribed as milestone, stepped and moulded up to chamfered
stem inscribed with names of battle sites of the Crimean War. Octagonal collar
above leads to obelisk head surmounted by cross. Pair of wrought iron lamp
brackets attached to stem.
