Barn. C18. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with handmade red clay tiles.
5 bays aligned NW-SE with midstrey to SW, with lean-to extensions on both sides
of midstrey (that to the SE with slate roof). SW elevation, one original halved
door in left lean-to, double great doors, 2 C20 casements and 2 C20 doors in
right lean-to. Roof half-hipped at both ends, midstrey gabled. Hardwood frame,
main timbers jointed and pegged. Primary straight bracing. Bolted knees to
straight tiebeams. Clasped purlin roof with intermediate collars at half-bay
intervals. Lined with C20 red brick in stretcher bond to a height of 1 metre.
2 SE bays lined for use as garages.
