West aspect. The signboard reads -Back Lodge-. Picturesque assymmetrical cottage, 1850. Brick with slate roof. All windows have ornamental brick hoodmould and all but one have wood mullions and latticed panes. Projecting gabled south porch with 4-centred arched opening. (Photo Nov 2013).
