House, formerly 2 cottages, probably early C18 core, altered and refronted C19. Timber framed, but now largely encased in brick. Of the frame, the wall plate and the joist ends on it are clearly visible, and there is one central post on a padstone, recessed within the brick wall. Welsh slate roof is a heightening on the original wall and replacing thatch. 2 storeys, 2 unit plan with later outshut. Doorway in gable wall beneath bracketed porch. (Photo May 2013).
