House, now Public House. Late C17/C18. Coursed rubble stone with Collyweston
slate roof and moulded stone stacks, that to right truncated and that to left
with buff brick flue. Stone coped gables. In 2 sections, that to right probably
earlier. This 2½ storeys of 2 3-light casements over 5-light canted bay, C20
door with flat wooden canopy on brackets and 3-light casement. 2 2-light hipped
dormers above. Section to left of 2 storeys of 1 3-light casement to right
over 4-light, C20 door and 3-light. Concreted lintels and sills. 3-lights are
centre-opening. Stone buttress far right of front. To rear 2 storey wing with
brick ridge stack and 1 storey lean-tos. Beams inside.
