TL 12 SW KINGS WALDEN WANDON END

3/41 Wandon End House

II

House. Early C18, renovated in later C19. Red brick in Flemish-bond with
lighter red dressings and rubbed brick flat arches to 1st floor. Steep
red tile roof. A tall 2-storeys and attics house facing E with 2-cells,
central-entrance, end chimneys plan. Symmetrical front with 4 windows
and a central recess to 1st floor, 3 gabled dormer windows on roofslope,
2 wide windows on ground floor and 6-panels half-glazed door under a
moulded flat hood on shaped brackets. Internal gable chimney at RH:
external at LH. Cross windows (recessed) with small panes to 1st floor.
Recess has 2 lozenges in black brick and Sun fire insurance plaque
No. 266152. Plat-band and moulded dentilled brick eaves cornice with
end corbels. 3-light transomed casements to ground floor, 2-light
divided casements to dormer.
