Barn. C17. Timber frame now raised on blockwork plinth, weatherboarded
with steep pitched roof now of corrugated sheeting. A tall 6-bay,
single-aisled barn facing N with rear aisle (3 bays infilled) and gabled
front porch to 3rd bay from W. Jowled posts with long slender curved
braces to tie-beams and arcade plate. Aisle ties. Inclined Queen strut
clasped-purlin roof formerly thatched. Strengthened by a lower purlin
carried on bearers between principal and Queen strut.
