House. C17 or earlier, mid C19 brick front. Timber frame dark
weatherboarded at rear, roughcast at E end, cased in red brick at front,
with red brick lean-to extension at W end and plastered lean-to rear
kitchen. Steep half-hipped thatched roof carried down in catslides over
extension. A 1½ storeys, 3 cells, internal chimney plan house facing S
built on former roadside waste land. Front elevation reflects division
into 2 properties during C19. 2 flush 2-light casement windows under
segmental arches, and similar windows in 2 dormers at eaves above. 2
half-glazed doors towards outer corners under segmental arches. Old
internal chimney a little to left of centre of ridge. C18 2-light plate
casement to upper floor at E end.
