House. Early C17, eaves raised late C18 with later additions and
alterations. Timber framed with rendered infill on rubblestone plinth
carried up to left gable end; limestone rubble also to rear. Slate
roof. Original house apparently of 3 framed bays with eaves raised in
late C18; late C20 addition in matching style to right. 2 storeys.
Framing: square panels, 3 from cill to original wall-plate with
rectangular panel above to raising of eaves. Long straight tension
brace. Late C20 casements, 2 directly below eaves and one to left and
4 to right of C20 porch with boarded door on ground floor. Segmental-
headed archway with wooden lintel to right of C20 casement (itself in
position of blocked doorway) immediately to right of door is infilled
with later framing. Red brick ridge stack in 2 sections and integral
end stack with late C19 brown brick shaft to left. Interior: not
inspected but likely to be of interest.
