Farmhouse, Circa C16 or early C17 extended in circa C17 or C18 and remodelled
late C19. Whitewash rendered stone rubble. Welsh slate roof with gabled ends
and heightened eaves. Rendered chimney stacks. Three rooms and through across
passage plan, with three lateral stacks at rear of hall, inner room and lower
end. Later wing at rear of higher end, possibly parlour. Late C19 stairs inserted
into wide or widened through across passage. Two storeys. Regular five window
front. Late C19 or C20 cross mullion transom casements, some with glazing bars.
Wide passage doorway to right of centre with C20 double doors and later C19
porch with timber posts supporting gabled roof with shaped bargeboards and reset
late C17 moulded plaster shell (at sunburst with sort of cartouche in the centre)
hood in the gable. Wing at rear of higher end of uncertain date, and later
C20 accretions. Interior: Rough chamfered ceiling beams. Late C19 staircase
inserted into wide or widened through across passage. Roof not inspected.
